Water Intrusion Porosimeter (Aquapore)
Description
PMI's Water Intrusion Porosimeter offers an alternative to mercury porosimetry for hydrophobic samples. The Water Intrusion Porosimeter performs a wide array of tests including total pore volume, pore volume distribution, mean pore size, and bulk density. The fully-automated Water Intrusion Porosimeter allows complete user-control, unlimited data points, and quick and accurate results.
Principles of Operation
The Water Intrusion Porosimeter measures intrusion volume of water into hydrophobic pores as a function of pressure applied on water. Pressure yields pore diameter.
