Description
The PMI Gas Permeameter provides fast and accurate measurement of gas permeability of solid/hollow cylindrical and sheet samples. Featuring nondestructive testing and fast results, PMI's Gas Permeameter is perfect for both R&D and quality control.
Principles of Operation
The Gas Permeameter is used to determine the permeability of porous solids by forcing a gas such as air to flow through the test sample. Measurements of the steady-state flow rate and the corresponding pressures provide the necessary data for calculation of the permeability using Darcy and other units.
Applications
Industries worldwide utilize the PMI Gas Permeameter for R&D and quality control. Specific areas of application include filters, ceramics, papers, membranes, and porous electrodes.
