Programmer

  1. Science – Practical:
    • How to use a volt meter to measure voltage and resistance
    • Difference between Absolute, Differential, and Gauge pressure

CAD Designer/CAD Draftsman

Porous Materials Inc. is seeking a mechanical drafter with proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably Solid Works) and in AutoCAD.

  1. Drafter will work with machinists and assembly technicians to design components of machines that test the porosity of materials.
  2. Will create 3D renderings of steel/aluminum/PVD parts, wiring diagrams and assemblies.
  3. Verifies from source documents and by preparing scale drawings., checks dimensions, tolerances, materials specified and other such data required to produce a workable reference detailed drawing.
  4. Responsibilities also include managing a database of CAD drawings, compiling comprehensive bills of materials for new machines and ensuring that all machines are completely documented.
  5. Knowledge of fluid mechanics and machining is a plus.
